Tanzania is a country in East Africa, bordering the Indian Ocean. In 1964, two countries,
Tanganyika and Zanzibar, merged to form this country. The capital city is Dodoma and the largest
settlement the port of Dar-es-Salam. The highest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro, lies in the
north-east of the country. Not many postcards at present, but hopefully more to come soon.
In conjunction with Zazzle, we have produced an extensive range of gifts, using images from these old postcards. The items available include
many reproduction postcards, coffee mugs, Christmas cards, birthday cards, key chains, fridge magnets, watches etc. Many images on
these pages have a direct link to a reproduction postcard - just click on the image to see and buy it ! (They are only about £1 each, with big
discounts for bulk purchases !). Most items may be personalised.  To view more gifts based on our old postcards, follow

Important !
This site has been hosted by Yahoo Sitebuilder since its creation 15 years ago. However, we have been told that as from March
2021, Sitebuilder will be discontinued and we will be unable to add to or amend the site. This is of course unacceptable, and we
are trying to find a new company to take on the hosting function. So far we have been unable to find a suitable host. When we
do then things will go back to normal, but in the meantime we hope you will continue to browse our postcards, and we apologise
for the incomplete pages which we are unable to bring up to date. We will keep you informed !
